Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans (OANO) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon to join our team. Established in 1949, OANO is dedicated to a collaborative environment with a strong focus on patient care.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, salaried position with relocation assistance
- First two years include a guaranteed salary and production-based bonus
- 3-4 Emergency Department call days/month (PAs handle initial consults)
- Work alongside 7 orthopedic physicians and 3 physician assistants
- Practice across two locations: New Orleans & Metairie
- Opportunity to build your practice with an established patient base
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of hand and wrist disorders
- Perform surgeries and provide comprehensive follow-up care
- Participate in 1:5 general orthopedic call coverage
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship in Hand and Wrist Surgery
- Excellent communication and a patient-focused approach
- Eligible for a Louisiana medical license
