Position: Gastroenterology Physician |
Description: Facility in Carlisle, PA seeking GI locums coverage Rates: $4500/day Facility is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to provide full-time 24-hour call coverage. This role requires inpatient consultations, rounding, and procedures with a preference for a provider experienced in ERCP. Candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania. Position Details:
- Start Date: January 1, 2025
- Shift Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a)
- Minimum Commitment: At least 7 days per month
- Typical Day: Hospital call coverage including rounding on admitted patients, ED consultations, and procedures as required.
- Rounding: Approximately 1-2 hours per day
- Admissions During Call: 5-10 daily
- Average Patient Encounters: 15 per shift, supported by an APP for consults, rounding, and follow-ups
- Procedures Required: Colonoscopy, EGD, PEGs, with ERCP experience preferred
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology
- ERCP Experience - Preferred
- PA License - Required
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
- DEA Registration
