Description: PasteJob Title: Fleet Mechanic Diesel & Gas Trucks Location: Easton & Plymouth MA Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive pay, commensurate with experience About Us Fairway Landscaping is a leader and provider of landscape maintenance and snow services. We rely on a wide range of specialized equipment, from skid steers to lawn mowers and two-cycle engines, to keep our operations running. We are looking for a highly skilled Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet. Responsibilities: Scheduled service, source parts, diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered trucks efficiently. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and transmission Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and transmission servicing. Use OEM diagnostic scanners (Ford & Toyota) to troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical issues. Maintain, repair, and replace hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems as needed. Ensure DOT compliance including safety equipment in vehicles. Work with operations management to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize downtime. Keep detailed service records and document repairs accurately. Requirements: 3+ years of experience working on diesel and gas-powered vehicles. Strong proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools and software. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus. Must have own tools (specialized diagnostic tools provided). Valid driver s license (CDL preferred but not required). ASE Certification or equivalent is a plus.
