Position: Hematology/Oncology Physician |
Description: We are seeking a provider to join our healthcare team in Georgia. This locum tenens Hematology/Oncology opportunity offers a supportive team environment, modern resources, and a light call schedule.
Practice Setting
- Outpatient setting
- Average volume of 15 patients per day
- Patient panel is adults only
Schedule
- 2 weeks per month, ongoing (mix of call and clinic)
- Clinical Hours:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Call Schedule:
- Very light 1:4 rotation, including nights and weekends
Cases and Procedures
- General Hematology/Oncology, including:
- Carcinomas (lung, breast, prostate, colon, pancreas)
- Leukemia
- Sarcomas
- Lymphomas
- Central Nervous System Cancers
- Lab testing
- Chemotherapy
- Combined cancer therapy management
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Georgia medical license (preferred) or Interstate Medical License
- BLS and DEA certifications
