Worship Leader PT

Real Hope Church is seeking a part-time Worship Leader. A servant-leader skilled in leading worship on Sunday mornings. The Worship Leader is responsible to champion the vision and mission of the church, which is: "To KNOW Christ; to GROW in Christ; and to GO and make Christ known to all." The Worship Leader should be a person who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; following after, and serving Him in a manner that reflects healthy, authentic and genuine Christian living.

Responsibilities:

• Select songs for weekly worship utilizing a variety of both contemporary and some traditional songs.


• Lead band members and singers by providing communication and sending charts and practice videos of songs.


• Conducting Sunday morning pre-service rehearsal.


• Prepare media presentation using Pro Presenter (Training available)


• Working to grow existing worship ministry, recruiting, training and building music ministry.

Competencies:

• Ability to sing well and play an instrument.


• Exhibit effective planning as well as follow through.


• Ability to lead and manage a team of music volunteers.


• Work closely with tech volunteers.


• Submit to the vision of the Lead Pastor, the Elders, and the direction of Real Hope Church.

Experience:

• Prior experience leading worship in a church setting is a plus, but not a disqualification, as long as the right candidate possess a teachable spirit and a willingness to learn the job/ministry with a good attitude.


• Able to read chord charts and posses an understanding of written music.

Job Type: Part-Time (7-10 hours a week)

Location: Austin, TX

Remote - except for Sunday morning services which are in person.

Pay: From $25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 per week
