Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Department : Breast Radiology
Schedule Availability/ Requirement : Monday-Friday two weeks per month. Ideal schedule would be 1st and 3rd week of the month or 2nd and 4th week of the month
Shift time: 8a-4p
Any call : No
Certification Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible
State License Requirements: CA Active license
Additional license requirement: BLS/ACLS, DEA
EMR: Cerner
Average monthly volumes are below:
- Procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc): 13
- Screening Mammos: 225
- Diagnostic Mammograms: 30
Duties and Procedures:
- Duties: Reading studies of all modalities in addition to diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies
- Required Procedures: Read Mammo, PET and perform breast biopsies
- MQSA Certification - Required
Average Credentialing Timeframe : 60 days or less
Logistic Reimbursement: Lodging, Car Rental/Mileage, Flight
Coverage : Next month but if not able to work then December or Feb. The site is needing coverage two weeks per month in December and February.
