Job Details Requirements:
Board Certification
State License Texas
Residency Requirements/Fellowship OB/GYN
Other Certifications - BLS/ACLS
Malpractice Clean required
Setting: Hospital
Duties: ED OB labor and delivery call coverage - for drop in's from the ED
Required Procedures: vag delivery, emergency C-Section, Gyn emergency surgery
EMR: Paragon
Support Staff: Hospitalist (medicine) not OB, Pediatricians
Reason for Coverage: FP/OB- On FMLA
15-25 deliveries a month
NICU Level I
Case log requirements: 10 case logs
Orientation details: Department tour OR/L&D, Paragon training, badges
In-house anes (on call), MFM support (via telephone)
Minimum years of experience required: >5 years
