The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Wire Design & Install Engineer to the MQ-25 Advanced Team located in Hazelwood, MO. Boeing is currently hiring for a MQ-25 Electrical Design Engineer located in Hazelwood, MO to be a part of the MQ-25 Electrical & Equipment team. The MQ-25 Stingray is a new autonomous, unmanned carrier based refueling air vehicle. The selected engineer will be a part of aviation history by helping our Navy customer productization Autonomous Carrier landing, takeoff and refueling capabilities. The MQ-25 program is currently building the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) vehicles for the Navy. Additional work is under way for the beginning of the System Demonstration Test Article (SDTA+) and Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) programs for additional vehicles. The MQ-25 Electrical & Equipment team is responsible for the power architecture & design, electrical equipment technical management, electrical installation design, wire harness design, and integrating avionics and other equipment into the vehicle. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Wire Design & InstallEngineers. Position Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
(Level 2) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. (Level 3) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates. Shift: This position is for 1st shift.
