Technical Advisor (Maternity Cover) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Description: We are looking for a Technical Advisor to join our Technical Services team based at our Pembridge site in Herefordshire. This will be on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave within the team for up to 12-months. As a Technical Advisor you will provide technical advice to customers, as well as to both internal and external Kingspan employees. Responsibilities of our Technical Advisor Responds to all requests for technical advice received, via various media (telephone/mail/email). Produce u-value calculation/due point condensation calculations. Ensures best practice advice is given at all times, in line with industry and company guidelines. Acts responsibly and in the interests of the company, deferring queries via line managers, where uncertainty may exist. Is aware of, and pays attention to, Key Performance Indicators Ongoing professional development What we are looking for in our Technical Advisor You will have: Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to set and adhere to customer service goals IT proficient, with a technical bias To have an excellent telephone manner Excellent time management skills, being highly efficient and well organised High attention to detail at all times Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit: Educated to Degree level Constructive discipline, with a basic understanding of building practices Understanding of building physics Contributes to the overall team effort by accomplishing departmental goals; whilst practicing excellent team working skills Why join Kingspan Insulation?
