Job Description:
Trailer Equipment / Trailer X-Press is seeking a CDL Class A OTR Regional Truck Driver to join our team. We prioritize your work-life balance, offering a Monday through Friday schedule that ensures you're home every Friday night (with the possibility of being home a couple of nights a week, depending on loads). Our geographical area spans from Texas to Florida to Pennsylvania, with limited East Coast trips and no New York boroughs, allowing our drivers to experience a variety of routes while maintaining a predictable schedule.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver semi-trailers and switchers to customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Complete the necessary paperwork
- Communicate with the transportation manager daily
- Maintain a good safety record
- Drive safely and treat customers with courtesy
- Maintain complete control of equipment and product at all times
- Drive a semi-truck with a trailer
- Have six months of OTR experience in the last 12 months or one year of OTR experience in the previous three years
- Oversee load (all no-touch freight)
- Majority drop and hook
- No driver loading or unloading
- Clean trucks and new mattresses for every new hire
- Higher governed trucks (72 mph)
- Newer trucks (2016 and 2022 models)
- Home weekly with a Monday-Friday schedule, ensuring a balanced work-life balance

Requirements:
- CDL Class A Driver's License
- Clean MVR
- 2 years of trailer driving experience
- Ability to pass a physical and drug screen
- Ability to pass a background check
