The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an entry level Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineer in Berkeley, MO.

As a member of the F-15 Electrical Design Team, you can expect to play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the electrical systems for both the T-7 and F-15. Your primary responsibility will be to design and model electrical systems. This includes building schematics, troubleshooting both new production F-15s and retrofit of legacy F-15s. Lastly, you will work closely with other platform systems teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems designs.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains advanced electrical product detail, assembly, and systems designs (e.g., Mentor CAPITAL). Analyzes results and performs comprehensive design reviews.

  • Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, and shop revision requests) with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Documents processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Develops detailed statements of work and project plans.

  • Analyzes functional and physical input to assure the development of complete integrated designs, leveraging extensive experience in electrical systems.

  • Works under minimal supervision, providing mentorship to junior engineers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.



This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.


  • Level 1: Bachelor's degree and work-related experience acquired through technical education


  • Level 2: 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR work-related experience with a Masters degree

  • 1+ years of experience in Electrical Design, including but not limited to Electrical Systems design, Wire Design and Electrical troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Proficiency with electrical schematics tools such as Mentor Capital, or CEEDs

  • Ability to adapt to program tools and procedures

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications

  • Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills

Experience:



Level 1: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.


Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:



Level 1: $66,300 - 89,700


Level 2: $79,900 - $108,100
