Position: Cardiology Physician Assistant |
Description: Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and hospital from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Description:
- Worksite Setting: Outpatient + Inpatient + calls
- EMR: Epic
- Provide patient care in both clinic and hospital settings.
- Work hours include clinic
- Participate in patient floor calls, inpatient hospital work, rounds, consults, and telehealth on days with bad weather.
- Manage cardiac floors with a capacity of 144 beds; patient placement can vary by floor.
- Handle in-house and beeper call duties, averaging 4-5 patient calls on weekdays per month and 1 weekend per month.
- Average patient encounters in the clinic range from 19 per shift; inpatient encounters vary.
- Work in a Level 1 trauma facility that also maintains a Level 1 pediatric status.
- Complete estimated credentialing within 30-45 days.
