Description: Adelphi is seeking an experienced/entry level Physical Therapist Assistant to provide services at a facility in Los Angeles, California. The Physical Therapist Assistant will deliver direct patient care services under the direction of a Physical Therapist, that will include; the implementation of treatment plans, administration of therapeutic exercises, and ongoing monitoring of patient progress.

Requirements:
- Graduate of APTA program accredited by CAPTE
- Current FSBPT License
- Current CA License
- CPR and BLS
- For experienced PTAs - Minimum 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
- For entry level PTAs - Less than 1 year experience within the last 3 years
Responsibilities:
- Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
- Provide direct patient care services under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist the Physical Therapist in performing assessments and complex treatment procedures.
- Complete reports or assessments/evaluations and progress notes utilizing facility's approved documentation forms in the residents chart.
- Maintain documentation on all residents referred for services.
- Ensure resident medical record information is maintained as confidential and is held in trust and confidence.
- Attend and participate in inter-disciplinary team meetings.
- Provide in-services information to appropriate staff and family members.
- Participate in appropriate in-service educational training programs.
- Participate in departmental special assignments pertaining to therapy services.
- Complete all tasks within established timelines provided by the facility.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
