an average of 2 weekends per month. This would include 8 onsite hours and then first call" Weekend schedule- Friday 7p to Monday 7a - ongoing needs of at least two weekends a month up to one week as needed in rotation with our existing staff.

Must be full scope practitioner including the ability to work in the OR, rounding and ICU
Conduct patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
First or second assist in cardiothoracic surgeries, such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repairs/replacements, and lung resections.
Perform tasks like harvesting saphenous veins for bypass grafts, suturing, and maintaining a sterile field.
Operate surgical instruments and devices under the supervision of the surgeon.
Participate in daily rounds with the surgical team, providing updates on patient status.
