Description: Part-Time MLT/MT, Chemistry Location: Rhode Island We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) specializing in Chemistry to join our team in Rhode Island . This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a flexible work schedule while still making a significant impact in a clinical laboratory setting. Job Responsibilities: Perform a variety of chemistry tests on patient samples, including but not limited to blood and urine. Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Ensure all quality control and assurance procedures are followed. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment. Participate in ongoing educational and training activities to stay current with laboratory techniques and technology. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results. Qualifications: MLT/MT certification required (ASCP or equivalent). Associate s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or related field for MLT or Bachelor's degree for MT . Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting, specifically in chemistry, preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory safety standards and best practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
