Hospitalist Physician Assistant

A reputable physician-founded and led medical group has a Nocturnist Physician Assistant job near Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Job Details:

• Five nights on/5 nights off schedule


• Hours: 7 pm to 7 am


• 18-bed observation unit


• No call environment


• Responsible for admissions from the Emergency Department to the Observation unit, 4-hour touch bases with nursing and case management, and discharges.


• EMR: Meditech Expanse


• Codes: Run by the Critical Care team but attend if it is in the Observation Unit


• Full Subspecialty support


• 2 Nocturnists on staff at night for the PA to confer with

Requirements:

• Experience as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant


• NCCPA Certified
