Job Opportunity:

Are you a culinary artist with a passion for seafood and excellence?
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our quayside seafood restaurant, where fresh ingredients and innovative dishes are at the heart of everything we do.


What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to craft exquisite, seasonally inspired menus, with a passion to showcasing Island produce.
  • Manage kitchen operations, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Lead and inspire chefs, foster creativity and growth.
  • Ensure the presentation and flavour of each dish embraces the Boatyard reputation for quality, and exceed our guests' expectations.
  • Manage inventory and liaise with suppliers to source the finest seafood and produce.


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role. Expertise in seafood preparation and an eye for culinary innovation.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Passion for sustainability and a commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Location:

The Boatyard Restaurant, Peel, Isle of Man. Our restaurant is situated on East Quay overlooking Peel marina and harbour.


Working Hours:

5 day working week, mix of straight and split shifts that offer a work/life balance whilst achieving the objectives of the restaurant.


Start Date:

April 2025.
