Description: Facility in Dayton, OH seeking surgery APP locums coverage Rates: Hourly $150
Night Call $300
Night Call Callback $150/hr
24 Hour Call $1000
24 Hour Call Callback $150/hr Job Details:
- Position: Full-Time Certified PA or NP (with RNFA)
- Start Date: TBD
- Coverage Need: Cardiac-surgery APP for first-assisting in the OR, conduit-harvesting, inpatient rounding, and consults
- Case Mix: 80%-90% OR, 10%-20% inpatient
- Procedures:
- Placement of arterial and venous lines
- Removal of chest tubes, pacing wires, IABPs, ECMO decannulation
- EVH using Maquet Vasoview HemoPro 2
- Call Coverage: After-hours beeper call for consults and OR (no in-house call)
- Shifts/Month: 14
- EMR: EPIC
- Schedule Flexibility: The team is open to different schedule arrangements, including 7-on/7-off or other part-time/full-time coverage options
- Privileges Available: Full and Temporary
Requirements:
- Board Status: Board Certified PA or NP (RNFA)
- Licensure: Ohio State License
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in cardiac surgery
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA
