Description: Facility in Troy, OH seeking Bread and Butter GI locums coverage Rates: $425/hr Position Overview
- Start Date: ASAP
- Reason for Opening: New Position
- Credential Requirements: DO or MD
- Licensure: Active Ohio License Required (IMLC not accepted)
- Certifications Required: ACLS, DEA, CSR License
- Minimum Experience: One year
- EMR System: EPIC
Coverage Details Outpatient Procedural Coverage (Position A):
- Commitment of two weeks per month, Monday through Friday
- Schedule is 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Responsibilities include performing outpatient screening and diagnostic colonoscopies, EGD, and food bolus care (no ERCP or EUS)
- Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will assess patients before scheduling procedures in the hospital endoscopy space
On-Call Coverage (Position B):
- Commitment of one week per month, seven consecutive days of 24-hour call
- Response time of 30 minutes by phone and 60 minutes on-site if necessary
- Procedures performed as needed, primarily during business hours
- Low call volume
Total Estimated Shifts per Month
- Ten days of outpatient procedures
- Seven days of on-call coverage
Practice Setup and Work Environment
- The provider will not work solo but is expected to take call and perform procedures independently
- Existing partners in the practice are available for collaboration
Privileges
- Full and temporary privileges available
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days
