Description: Overview Bowhead seeks a Senior Budget Analystto support future efforts on the PMA 268 contract at Patuxent River, MD Responsibilities Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Analyze budgeting and accounting reports. Manage objectives by formulating, defining, designing, testing and implementing requirements and upgrades to business processes, policies and information systems. Review budget proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine program efficiency. Qualifications Required: MA/MS degree. Allowable Substitutions: Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a master's degree. OR Associate degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. OR Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a master's degree. Required: ten (10) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. At least three (3) years of knowledge and experience of budget, planning and executing out of the following financial systems: N-ERP, CSPT and PBIS; Knowledge and expertise in the PPBE process. Must be able to process a variety of information, evaluate costs and benefits, and solve complex problems. Must posess communication skills, math skills, writing skills and be detail oriented. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 5 to 10 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
