Description:
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join a Residential Treatment Center that provides care for individuals with severe mental illness. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment without the burden of call responsibilities.
Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of patient admission Complete admissions and discharges Provide ongoing psychiatric rounding and medication management Participate in treatment team planning with nursing, psychology, and medical staff Attend court hearings when needed Credentialing Timeframe: 1 2 months Assignment Length: To be determined Support Staff: Nursing team, psychology associates, and other onsite medical staff We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated provider who enjoys working with a complex patient population in a structured, team-based environment.
