Orthopedic NP/PA opportunity in Myrtle Beach, SC

Great opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to work in a general orthopedics setting seeing a mix of outpatient and inpatient duties.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)


• Must have experience as NP/PA in surgery or ortho/pain management/sports med


• Outpatient and Inpatient role


• Standard office hours - Mon-Fri 8a-5p


• Call to be determined during recruitment based on experience and specialty interest of APP - shared call with surgeons 1:8 for ED call and clinic call is 1:6


• Great support staff with dedicated ortho RN, PA's, and experienced surgical teams


• 17-20 patients per day in clinic


• Primarily teen to adult patients with a range of Ortho issues with a focus on those requiring joint replacement surgeries.


• Other general Ortho conditions include - hips, knees, foot/ankle, sports med, and shoulders


• Initial consults, pre/post op, management of chronic ortho issues, in office bread and butter procedures


• Hospital employed


• EMR used is Cerner
