Description: Overview Supply Technician (EAGLE 8): Bowhead seeks a Supply Technician to support its recently awarded Eagle contract in Aberdeen, MD.The Supply Technician performs technical property management, cataloging items, and maintaining property books assigned through hand receipts regarding the acquisition, accountability, and distribution of all appropriated fund supplies and equipment used to support customers. Possesses operational skills and knowledge of automated supply systems, related regulations, analytical techniques, and causative research skills. Responsibilities Essential functions will include: Act as assistants to the LRC Accountable Property Officer. Ensure proper posting of installation property book transactions and posting of installation property book supporting documents. Review the installation property book transaction documents before filing. Ensure all supply forms submitted by Primary Hand Receipt Holders (PHRHs) to the appropriate installation property book are prepared in accordance with applicable regulations. Ensure Sensitive Item Inventory listings are provided to the PHRHs no later than the second working day of the month, and the Annual/Cyclic inventory is provided to the PHRH thirty (30) days prior to the inventory due date. Ensure all annual/cyclic reports to higher headquarters are submitted in a timely manner. Track authorization documents and check inventories and shortages/excesses. Assist the LRC with conducting Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) for accountable property that is lost or damaged. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least two (2+) years of experience in an Army property management system. Knowledge of Army supply/property management policies and procedures is required and qualified candidates must be highly skilled with GCSS-Army. Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 50 pounds Sit for long periods of time operating a computer keyboard. Repeat the same movements. Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (office work). SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level.
