Position: Accountable Property Office Supervisor


Description: Overview Property Office Supervisor (EAGLE 6): Bowhead seeks an Accountable Property Office Supervisor to support its recently awarded Eagle contract in Aberdeen, MD.The Accountable Property Office Supervisor oversees operations in the Accountable Property Office for maintaining property records, inventory, and management functions. Independently perform these functions through hand receipts regarding the acquisition, accountability, and distribution of all appropriated fund supplies and equipment used to support customers. Possesses operational skills and knowledge of automated supply systems, related regulations, analytical techniques, and causative research skills. Responsibilities Essential functions will include: Plans and directs personnel and resources for day-to-day mission support. Trains new supply/property management specialists and provides input to local property management policies and procedures. Briefs the Accountable Officer of all property-related issues or any issues that may impact customer support. Attends meetings and briefings as directed by the Accountable Property Officer. Performs technical supply management work related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Uses knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods and methods and manuals to complete assignments. Uses analytical ability to define or recognize the dimensions of the problems involved. Collects necessary data to establish factors or recommend action based on application or interpretation of established guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least five (5+) years of experience in an Army property management position. Knowledge of Army supply/property management policies and procedures is required and qualified candidates must be highly skilled with GCSS-Army. Must have at least five (5+) years of supervisory experience. Must possess in-depth knowledge of supply program relationships, concepts, and methodologies pertaining to Supply/Property Book Accountability and supply areas related to logistics. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 25 pounds Sit for long periods of time operating a computer keyboard. Repeat the same movements. Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (office work). SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level.
