Position: Urology Physician Assistant


Description: HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurology team in Decatur, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights: - Well established, growing practice with strong reputation within the Decatur community- Monday - Friday scheduled with an option of 4 or 5 days per week- No call schedule, no holidays, and no weekends- EPIC EMR- Ample training time with the neurology teamPosition requirements:- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start- Board Certified- 2+ years of provider work experience is strongly preferred. Experience in Neurology is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered.Compensation & Benefits Package:- Base guarantee - Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly - CME reimbursement + days available per fiscal year - Opportunities to earn productivity and patient outcome/patient satisfaction bonuses - Sign on bonus and relocation assistance both available




Education Qualifications



  • Master's degree in Nursing is required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.



Experience Qualifications



  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.



Certifications, Licenses and Registrations



  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.

  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or

  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.

  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.

  • Federal DEA license is preferred.

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
