Description: Regional Hospital is looking for a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join outstanding group as we grow our per diem pool. Qualified candidates can enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive team of experienced providers (9 physicians, 2 NPs & 3 PAs) and staff. The ED Physician will practice full-scope emergency medicine with great consult services including General Surgery, Pediatrics and OBGYN. Averaging 15,000 patient visits per year, we are looking for someone who enjoys practicing rural medicine and will thrive in a small community. We are located in VT s Northeast Kingdom, a region known for it s rural charm and unspoiled beauty. The NEK holds excellent public and private schools, superb skiing, and 100 miles of Kingdom Trails Mountain Biking , recently voted the BEST MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL NETWORK in North America by reader s of Bike Magazine. We are a 45 minute drive from Vermont s state capital and less than 3 hours to Boston, Portland, Burlington and Montreal.
