- Practice Setting: Endoscopy suite, office
- Dates of Coverage: Starting 1/1/25
- Schedule: Every week needed: Monday - Thursday, 7a-5p
Ideally, client will offer 2 locum candidates to "split the month" between them
Mon-Thur = clinic and procedures
NO CALL
- Clinical Areas: Adult, Office/Clinic, Gastro, Endoscopy, Hospital
- Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine be Required: Yes
- Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: 12-14
- Average Number of Hospital Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: 10-12 procedures
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Required Procedures:
- Small Bowel Biopsy
- Lower GI Endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy:
- with Biopsy
- with Foreign Body Removal
- with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser)
- with Injection of Varices
- with Banding of Varices
- Diagnostic
- Therapeutic
- with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
Facility Reimbursement for the Following Cost: Flight, Hotel, Rental Car, Mileage
