Description: Norton Children's Medical Group and The University of Louisville School of Medicine are seeking a strategic leader to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology for the University of Louisville School of Medicine and Co-Director of the Norton Children's Heart Institute. Norton Children's Heart Institute at The University of Louisville - Best Children's Hospital in Kentucky (U.S. News and World Report ) • 300-bed Level I Pediatric Trauma Center on the same block as state-of-the-art multidisciplinary outpatient office building. • Fully integrated academic clinical care model focused on translating clinical research to state-of-the-art bedside care • 70+ providers serving 19 locations across Kentucky and Southern Indiana • 20+ multidisciplinary clinics • Research opportunities with resources available through Norton Children's Research Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine The Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology will: • Advance the program to the next level by constructing and implementing strategies for programmatic growth across clinical, educational, and research programs • Continue building upon a dynamic team of over 40 cardiology providers, providing mentorship to junior faculty members, and growing the team to meet clinical access needs • As Co-Director of Norton Children's Heart Institute, build and maintain strong collaborative and collegial relationships with Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiac Anesthesiology divisions • Leverage a national/international reputation to advance the profile of the Heart Institute and achieve recognition as one of the premiere institutes both regionally and nationally Reach out to Dirk Jansson at , or for more details!
