Description:
Well-regarded Orthopedic Surgeon with a Sports Fellowship is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant.
The position is sports focused but also includes general cases.
There is a strong volume of knee and shoulder cases.
This doctor s patient base includes all levels of athletes (professionals to weekend warriors) as well as general population.
The position is two days in the OR and the balance is in the clinic.
The new Physician Assistant will provide a mix of surgical first assist, consultation and patient follow-up and education, sin-visc and cortisone injections, pre and post H&P s, write scripts, and review and order lab tests.
The Physician Assistant will run a parallel clinic to the doctor.
The position does not have any weekends and minimal evenings.
This doctor requires orthopedic experience.
The candidate must be NCCPA-Certified. Sorry, the Doctor will not train a new graduate.
The location is within the Arlington, Virginia area.
Base salary: Excellent compensation and a full benefits package provided.
