Spinelli Building Full Time Employed Average Patients seen: Varies - Will provide direct patient care Call Schedule: Will assist during on-call hours as needed Loan Repayment Sign-On Bonus Compensation: - Competitive Compensation including sign on/retention bonus Benefits: - Health, Dental and Vision- 403B access- Comprehensive malpractice coverage included.- Paid CME budget and CME time off- State licenses and professional fees reimbursement- Generous PTO time in additional to federal holidays and applicant's birthday- NHSC Student Loan Repayment, if eligible Additional Info: The Medical Director will support the Chief Quality & Transformation Officer in ensuring quality andcomprehensive medical care delivery and development for health care plan and programs across Optimusincluding Peer Review activities and assist with patient billing when appropriate. - Will provide oversite for all adult medicine locations.Qualifications:- Must hold MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and internal medicine residency program- 3 to 5 years of clinical management experience required in a communityhealthcare setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience in relevant area(s) of medical specialty and clinical operations.- Current unrestricted Connecticut License to practice medicine- Active Federal DEA and Controlled Substance Registration- Board Certified in Specified Area of Medical Specialty if applicable.- Current CPR certification and ACLS certification required- Bilingual English, Spanish desirable but not required.
