Develop retail sales strategies that promote increase in sales, arrange plant ordering, planting and promote a pleasant work environment.
1. Complete all required training to become a Job Coach. Work in job coach capacity on request by Program Coordinators and/or Program Director. 2. Participate as a member of the Vocational Leadership Team. (Program Director, Executive Assistant, Program Coordinators and Retail Manager). 3. Assist other job coaches with training issues to ensure the client receives appropriate job knowledge and skills training. 4. Develop and utilize natural supports, both on and off the job, to secure vocational success. 5. Complete all documentation necessary to support billing of services, following regulatory or HOH instructions. 6. Develop business relationships with the local community businesses. 7. Develop specific store merchandising standards. Train staff on those standards. 8. Work with store job coaches and clients to enhance the appearance and overall operations of the store. 9. Identify operational needs of stores and develops appropriate solutions and recommendations. 10. Maintain inventory of each store and purchases store supplies as needed. 11. Maintain store staff job results by recommending, coaching, planning, helping and monitoring projects (ex: building displays, holding sidewalk sales, decorating for holidays, etc.). Prepare monthly calendar of events for stores and help encourage and keep employees motivated. 12. Market stores though advertising, market merchandise through sales promotions and displaying. 13. Ensure a safe and clean store environment 14. Ensure items/displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability. 15. Interact with business leaders in the local communities to promote the stores and HOH. 16. Develop a method to sell items on line as well as research the value of donated items. 17. Grow sales of store merchandise to a profitable margin. 18. Assist with recruitment and recognition of store volunteers. 19. Assist client in achieving maximum potential and self determination. Requirements:

Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalency. Horticulture degree preferred. Experience: 6 months-2 years in service oriented environment ideally in a horticulture or job development capacity. Skills: above average interpersonal, verbal and written communications; basic math; proficiency in using office equipment that includes copier, fax, calculator, and telephone system. Ability: to organize tasks, record and produce accurate work; to exercise sound judgment; periodic travel to various intrastate sites (which may involve over night stay). Operate motor vehicle day or night.
