Position Overview:
Job Title: Gastroenterology Physician
Location: Ridgecrest, CA
Salary: $700,000 $775,000/year + productivity bonus
Position Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor
Work Setting: Hospital Clinic/Private Practice
Schedule: 40 hours/week
On-Call: 10 days per month
Job Responsibilities:
️ Patient Care & Treatment:
- Diagnose, manage, and treat digestive system disorders
- Perform procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and hemorrhoidal banding
- Maintain a reasonable patient load (16-20 patients per clinic day; 16 cases per procedure day)
- Develop and communicate effective treatment plans
️ Collaborative Teamwork:
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team
- Benefit from assistant and scribe services (or AI scribe) for reduced administrative burden
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Active CA Medical License (Licensing assistance available)
Residents completing their U.S. residency this year are welcome to apply
