Description: Job Title : Neonatal Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location : Rockford, IL Shifts : 3x12s Nights Pay: $2,850 per week Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neonatal Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Rockford, IL. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced NICU setting. You will play a key role in delivering respiratory care to critically ill and premature newborns, working closely with neonatologists, nurses, and other care team members. What's In It for You? What You'll Be Doing as a Respiratory Therapist: Deliver safe and effective respiratory care to neonates, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, CPAP, surfactant administration, and airway management. Monitor and assess respiratory status, adjusting therapies as needed based on physician orders and patient response. Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases, pulse oximetry, and capnography. Assist with neonatal resuscitation during high-risk deliveries. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation complies with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in the NICU to create and adjust individualized care plans. Educate families on respiratory equipment and neonatal respiratory conditions when appropriate. Required Qualifications as a Respiratory Therapist Active RRT credential and state licensure.
